The Admiral Cunningham Hotel - A family-run pub with sports bars, private event spaces, and free WiFi

The Admiral Cunningham Hotel features a lively sports bar with 4 TV screens, a giant projector, and 2 pool tables, alongside a quieter lounge bar. Rooms include free WiFi, tea/coffee facilities, and private bathrooms with showers; some are located above the pub, while others are in a separate guest house for quieter stays. The Deck, a private event space with a capacity of 200, overlooks a pond and features an overhead canopy, while the Garden Room offers heated, retractable roofs for year-round use. Located 1 km from Bracknell Forest Council, the hotel is positioned between the M3 and M4 motorways, with Wokingham town center 3 km away. Guests can dine at the onsite restaurant, which serves street food-inspired menus, and enjoy discounts when presenting their room key.

Pros

The sports bar includes multiple screens and a shuffleboard for entertainment.

Private event spaces like The Deck and Garden Room accommodate groups of up to 200 and 50 guests respectively.

Free onsite parking and WiFi are available for all guests.

Rooms above the pub and in a separate guest house offer flexibility for noise preferences.

Cons

Some rooms have compact ensuite bathrooms, which may feel cramped.

The pub's lively atmosphere may not suit those seeking complete quiet.

“For a modest stay near Bracknell's centre, this place emphasizes practical comforts. Expect clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a surprisingly good, hearty breakfast. The friendly atmosphere and convenient location make it a solid base for appointments or shopping trips.”
